Mark your calendars for our first BIG EVENT at Second Story! We’re honored to host our very own Dr. Kelly Dean Jolley and his newest novel, “Darcy’s Struggle,” at Second Story on Thursday, 8/29 at 6:30pm.

Romantic, reflective, and ironic, this novel based on Jane Austen’s “Pride & Prejudice” is a story told from Fitzwilliam Darcy‘s point of view. It is a story about the struggle from intellect to heart, a deliberate character study, and - of course - a heart-pumping love story.

Dr. Jolley is also the celebrated author of the detective thrillers “Big Swamp” and “The Vanishing Woman.” He is the Goodwin-Philpott Professor of Religion and Philosophy at @auburnu.
